Jim Lang the Founder of the former Amyloidosis Network International, Inc. was there for my family when our Mom was diagnosed with Amyloidosis. At that time, there wasn't an online support group, so my sister wrote him a letter and he answered back. They also talked on the telephone. That is why I'm thanking Jim Lang..our only support.
Jim was the only person we could talk to who actually had Amyloidosis and provided us with great support and information. Jim passed away in 2008 after fighting for 20 years after being diagnoised. He certainly was a warrier.
Now we have places that are online for support and our new www.AmyloidosisSupportNetwork.org as well.
